Bad Boy Records recording artist French Montana had long buried his highly-anticipated fourth volume mixtape titled, MC4 after so many obstacles arose in the process of making the project like the loss of his friend and the imprisonment of best friend, along with song leaks. However, what looks like a change of heart, Frenchie has decided to surprise his fans and release the long-awaited new project after all.

French Montana revealed last night (November 5) MC4 was on the way in an Instagram tribute video to his best friend and late-Coke Boys recording artist Chix, who was killed back in 2015, shown below.

MC4 is the fourth installment of French’s breakout mixtape series, ‘Mac & Cheese’. Originally released back in 2009, the four-part collection has been responsible for street smashes like, “Ocho Cinco”, “Thrilla in Manilla”, and “Diamonds”. The last installment, Mac & Cheese 3, arrived four years ago, in 2012.

The 14-song album features a friendly cast of French’s longtime collaborating partners Drake, Jeezy, A$AP Rocky, Kodak Black, Kanye West, Nas, Miguel, Beanie Sigel, Jadakiss, Styles P, Max B, and late-Chinx. While featured production is handled by The Alchemist, Detail, Harry Fraud, DJ Khalil, The Mekanics and more.

Upon announcing the album release, French Montana also treated fans to two new music video off the album with the Miguel-featured, “Xplicit” and the Beanie Sigel, Jadakiss, Styles P-featured, “Have Mercy” . Checkout the new videos below:
