Western Massachusetts native Dezil brings us that new school flow with an old school sound on his latest single “Das Ra.” The title “Das Ra” is a reference to the Egyptian sun god Ra. The sun god Ra was a symbol of warmth, life knowledge and all seeing eye, hence the artwork. Even if you’ve never heard of Dezil, I highly recommend you check out “Das Ra” below.

It seems like Huey Mack just keeps getting better and better. I remember back about two years ago when my friends would ridicule me for bumping Huey, these days it seems like everybody and their mother loves Huey. “Love This Life” has be one of my new favorites from Huey, this song has a chill yet upbeat tempo accompanied by some motivation lyrics about loving the life he has worked his ass off to live. The Southwest has been somewhat slacking when it comes to releasing new music. Well not for much longer, New Orleans native, Jae E has recently announced that he will be releasing his second installment in the ADITL mixtape series ADITL: First Class. With tracks featuring hip-hop veterans such as DMX, E40 and Mike Jones, ADITL: First Class is truly going to be a must download.For those who have yet to here of Jae E I highly recommend you check out his Youtube page HERE. Mark your calenders because December 21st is going to be a monumental day for hip-hop.
Funk Volume has been one of favorite independent labels since I first discovered them a couple years back. They set out with the mission to never let Hip-Hop die, and it seems that they are doing just that. Recently the Funk Volume decided to spread the good word of real hip-hop over to the UK.
