Zachary Obasiolu

TTM has been working closely with Boston based blog Waffles After Class, and rather then becoming enemies and trying to get the new music up first, we help each other out in multiple different ways. Throughout the next few months, we hope to craft our own lane with founder WAC Zachary Obasiolu in hopes to showcase some of our favorite talent, before they get big. It’s a shame that the people who run the best blogs get little to no shine, so I, Lloyd Ellis, have decided to shine the light on Zach with this post so the people can get to know a little bit more about the entrepreneur.

TrillerThanMost was able to catch up with Killer Mike last Friday before his show at Pearl Street Nightclub in Northampton, MA. During our interview (Shouts to Mike‘s manager, Joe, for making it happen), we were able to talk about how he starting making music, support from his grandmother, what it’s like having his birthday on 4-20, “Reagan” and more. YouTube is stupid and made the video copyrighted because I used a part of the music video for “Reagan”, so I had to put it on Vimeo. Interviewing Killer Mike was an experience of a lifetime, I hope to catch up with Mike in the near future, and maybe to even get a haircut at Graffiti’s SWAG! Watch my interview with this great below.

Check out some of Boogz‘s history, who supported him and more down below.

TTM – You’re from Randolph, Massachusetts, a suburb of Boston, which is not where a lot of the biggest artists are coming out of. You don’t fit that profile; has the scene changed overall or are you trailblazing?

Kyle BentI would definetely say im trailblazing, but at the same time you have to remember hardwork beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard.
