Tonight marks the official introduction to Cali rapper IvL with his first official release, The Dean’s List. The eight track effort boasts production that’ll shake the foundation and an MC who flows seamlessly over every one of them. The tape is a standout for a relatively unknown artist, but the quality of the project is no fluke or accident and is the result of years of hard work.

Originally going by L.A. Spliff during his first years rhyming in Cincinnati, IvL has been around the game since he was 16 years old. Now 24, IvL’s career has seen him opening up for artists such as Future, French Montana, and YG and an appearance in episode 5 of Future’s “Pluto 3D Vlog”. Now eight years later, he is back with a new name and better than ever with a mixtape he spent two years of non-stop grinding and dedication to perfect. The grind and authenticity can be felt through every bar and it doesn’t stop there as IvL has even made his breakthrough in the streetwear game with his brand IvLeague.

Our favorite tracks include Birthday 16, Winnin, and A Lot of Money. This won’t be the last you hear from IvL and we at Triller Than Most are excited to bring him to the front.

Peep the tape below and don’t sleep.
