TTM Presents: Top 50 Songs Of 2012

2012 was a great year for music, both from signed and unsigned artists, with new underground rappers seemingly blowing up monthly. Artists such as Chief Keef, 2 Chainz, Joey Bada$$, Travi$ Scott and many more came out of nowhere grabbing the attention and nodding the heads of music fans everywhere, knocking out bangers faster than Trinidad Jame$ pops molly’s. This year many up-and-comers such as Big K.R.I.T., Macklemore, A$AP Rocky, and the West Coast rap group Black Hippy, (containing Kendrick Lamar, Ab-Soul, ScHoolboy Q, and Jay Rock) who had already gained the support of many hip-hop heads released debut albums in 2012 to great critical acclaim and better than expected sales. The year of 2012 also showcased the new wave of R&B music, with debut LP’s from Frank Ocean and The Weeknd, a spectacular sophomore album from Miguel, and one of the best EP’s of the year coming from Elijah Blake. Undeniably 2012 gave many previously unknown artists a long career to come in the music business, and was a year where the top rappers and singers of the future emerged with great sales alongside the critical acclaim. Here at Triller Than Most, we took it upon ourselves to listen to every single one of the great releases of 2012, and by the years end we found our ears very satisfied. Below is a list of our top 50 favorites, although many others could have made the lineup, these were the records in which made the cut. Also, shout out to our graphic designer Los Rivera for making the artwork. Hit him up on Twitter if you need artwork done for cheap.
