Los Angeles emcee Dumbfoundead partners with Noisey to release his hauntingly vibrant tribute music video “Murals” from his brand new mixtape We Might Die. Produced by the Stereotypes, the hard hitting track shines a light on his urban upbringing in Koreatown while the music video directed by Jay Ahn of Transparent Agency paints his immortalizing future.
Dumbfoundead explains, “’Murals’ is an ode to all the past OGs and legends notorious in our neighborhoods. As a kid I used to walk past these large murals and I always stopped to pay my respects as if they were actual memorials. I hoped that one day I’d also be immortalized on the walls of our liquor stores and bodegas.”
Stay tuned as Dumbfoundead will kick off his We Might Die Tour in Seattle on January 25th. The North American leg will also make stops in Atlanta, Chicago, DC, Toronto, New York and hometown Los Angeles. Joining him on the road will be Virginia duo Year of The Ox who recently scored 9 million Facebook hits with their freestyle Seven Rings partnership alongside Team Backpack. Tour dates are listed above and tickets will be available this Friday here.
